Stress-Reduction Course: 2021

The six-week stress reduction course will focus on the economic and social disruption as a result of COVID-19. We will work on cultivating gratitude and adapting to change.  Working with the breath (pranayama), using the breath to calm and relax the mind and body. Guided-mindfulness stretching will be embedded in each session. The first class will be uploaded in February 2021.

Stress Reduction Course Series: Week 1-6

The course follows all HIPAA guidelines; confidentiality will be maintained. Informed consent forms are required for those who choose to participate in the study (participation is optional) but applicants are needed. 

There are risks and benefits associated when practicing mindfulness. For example, awareness of self and/or repressed memories may come to light. There's also the benefit of a calmer more relaxed you.
